Three title fights for UFC 251 on the Fight Island!

Dana White: 'UFC Island Will Be Ready Very Soon, I'll Live There For a Whole Month'

It doesn’t get any bigger than this. The UFC president Dana White just announced that the Fight Island is in Abu Dhabi, and the corresponding event, UFC 251 will feature not one, not two, but three title fights!

The first is the fight between the reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. He will try to defend his title for the second time against Gilbert Burns. In the picture for the title shot were Masvidal, Edwards, Colby, but, Burns got it. He fought just two weeks ago when he unanimously defeated Tyron Woodly. Usman last fought in December last year when he finished Colby Covington in the last round.

Next up is a rematch for the featherweight scrap. One of the biggest fights in the history of 145 division as the winner may be crowned with the title “the best 145er of all time”. Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway first fought in December last year when Volkanovski took the title from Holloway in a five-round bout.

The last title fight is for the vacant 135 belt. A month ago, Henry Cejudo retired and vacated the belt so it is up for the taking. Former featherweight king, Jose Aldo will face against one of the most feared bantamweights in the world, Petr Yan.
