Rafael Dos Anjos is currently in the search phase for his next fight. After recently listing several potential opponents, the former lightweight champion decided to add another name to the list. He wants to contract a fight he should have already done in early 2016, but he got injured that way.
Of course, this is a rehearsal against Conor McGregor, whose cancellation set in motion a series of events that greatly affected what the UFC is today.
After Dos Anjos canceled the fight and automatically lost his career, Nate Diaz took the opportunity. He jumped into that fight, and the rest is history. Diaz has since regularly bragged about the money he has earned, and this particularly bothers the man whose injury led to it.
And @NateDiaz209 stop bragging of how much money you make, don’t forget where you came from. You got big money fight because I got hurt.— Rafael dos Anjos (@RdosAnjosMMA) June 13, 2020
