Masvidal’s Head Coach Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Masvidal's Head Coach Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Jorge Masvidal’s head coach, Mike Brown, is positive for coronavirus.

The bad news for Jorge Masvidal comes from Las Vegas, from where his head coach Mike Brown was to head to Abu Dhabi. He was tested for the coronavirus for the last time before departure, but it will not even happen now, as his test is positive. Brown after confirmation of the fight had no contact with Masvidal but should have met only on Yas Island, so this will not affect the fight, but Jorge will be weakened without his head coach in the corner.

“I am positive, but I am fine. I will not be in Abu Dhabi,” Brown wrote in a message he sent to the media.

Another coach who should have left, Gabriel de Oliveira, is also positive, and it is currently unknown who should be in Jorge Masvidal’s corner during the fight against Kamaru Usman. He has been tested negative every time so far, and it seems like a very good decision to travel to Abu Dhabi on his own arrangement, provided by his management.
