There is no UFC, but Bellator vs Rizin cross-promo brought some entertaining, fun-to-watch combats. Yet, all the main card battles ended via decision, and Bellator fighters secured dominant 5-0 victories. We’ve seen the most spectacular KO in the battle between John Dodson and Hideo Tokoro, where the former UFC competitor destroyed the Japanese combatant with a flurry of punches in the first round.
Cage Warriors 148 was way more entertaining. Shaj Haque and Sam Creasey closed the prelims with a title bout, and Hague is a new 125-pound champ thanks to his big weaving overhand right in the third.
Tobias Harila scored a surprising knockout despite being an underdog. The former UFC 125-pound title contender Wilson Reis edged his opponent out for a unanimous decision victory thanks to superb wrestling and endurance.
The former UFC 205-pound fighter Modestas “The Baltic Gladiator” Bukauskas floored Chuck Campbell with a lovely right hand in the fourth and became the first fighter who scored 205-pound Cage Warriors title two times.

Unfortunately, there is no UFC this week, but LFA 149 is going to air at UFC on Fight Pass. This sounds like a great way to relax until the next UFC event.
In the main event of the evening, the Brazilian submission expert Felipe Bunes meets a Japanese kickboxer with lovely choking skills, Yuma Horiuchi. This is a striker vs grappler match-up, but the Japanese guy’s submission defense is solid. Yet, this will hardly last until the final bell.
Prediction: the fight will not go the distance
An undefeated Ben Tynan meets heavy-handed Brazilian who turned the lights out on UFC’s Johnny Walker in the past, Henrique da Silva. Da Silva is known for heavy hands and bad cardio, while Tynan’s fight IQ rocks, so this will probably end inside one, maximum of two rounds.
Prediction: the fight will not go the distance
