Israel Adesanya is a Nigerian New Zealand-based professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter who has currently been crowned the Middleweight Champion of the UFC and is also ranked 4th in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound statistics, as reported by UFC. Prior to these achievements, Israel successfully defended his middleweight championship against Marvin Vettori in the UFC 263 main show on June 13, 2021, which led to him being largely considered one of the finest strikers in MMA. However, what’s the sexuality of the finest striker in the UFC? Is he gay, bisexual, or straight?
Although Israel is rumored to be gay due to his social media posts and other suspicious acts displayed, he has not revealed his sexuality. His pronouns are he/him so this indicates that he’s not also transgender. Until he announces his sexuality, the declarations on the internet will remain rumors.

Is Israel Adesanya Gay?
Israel’s sexual preference has been a public conversation over the years especially due to his social media posts and the controversies surrounding his posts and actions.
The questions about his sexual preference have intensified over the past months since he established himself as one of the top mixed martial arts fighters in the sport today since he’s dominated the middleweight championship.
In 2020, an old picture of him with bright pink hair was posted online, sparking conversations around his choice of sexuality which led to intense debate on the MMA message boards as regards his preferences.
Several users had the opinion that someone of Israel’s stature coming out as gay would be huge for the LGBTQ community as it’ll shun a lot of stereotypes in sports culture and society in general.
However, even with all of the speculations and assumptions about Israel being gay, he hasn’t made a declaration of his sexuality which still leaves his fans and the whole of the MMA community puzzled about his sexuality. Even though he hasn’t made a declaration about his sexuality, his social media posts depict him being gay and even instagram had to take some of the posts down.
Since Israel hasn’t made a declaration about his sexuality, we can only judge from what he lets us see on his social media which does depict his gayness. However, until he declares his sexuality officially, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Is Israel Adesanya Bisexual?
Israel hasn’t expressed his sexuality around being bisexual so it’s not certain if he is bisexual or not present. Since an old photo of Israel surfaced on social media where he had pink hair, there’s been a lot of speculation about him being a member of the LGBTQ community with a lot of MMA fans airing their views on this.
A fan mentioned that “a big name coming out would help the sport”, however, Israel hasn’t said or mentioned anything about his sexuality, keeping his fans in the dark and also keeping his private life private it seems.
This discussion isn’t isolated because in 2019 when Israel fought Anderson Silva and defeated him, a similar argument raged.
A fan wrote of Israel, “as a bi man myself, I get the vibe”, indicating how he feels Israel may be bi but Israel never mentioned his sexuality or if he truly is bisexual. This doesn’t mean we should rule out him being bisexual however, it’s important to wait till he declares his sexuality before asserting his sexuality.
Is Israel Adesanya Straight?
Israel seems to be a very private person as he doesn’t discuss his personal life with the media nor share it with the public via his social media. Even though he seems very private as regards his relationship and sexuality, his being straight still seems like a mystery because his social media posts depict that he may be a member of the LGBTQ community.
None of his posts on social media nor his actions live indicate that he’s straight as we’ve never heard of him having a past girlfriend, present girlfriend, or wife. Maybe he isn’t straight or just maybe he’s very strict with his private life and doesn’t want anybody meddling in his business, who knows?
He’s been very outspoken about his family though as he’s even brought them out when he won his fight, however, his sexuality has always been a secret. He’s also never mentioned him being involved with a girl or being married and he’s also not indicated his sexuality so in this instance we’ll also keep our fingers crossed and wait for him to come out whenever he’s comfortable.
Does Israel Adesanya Have A Wife Or A Girlfriend?
Israel Adesanya isn’t married yet, so this means he doesn’t have a wife. He’s also not uploaded any images of his girlfriend or partner nor has he ever discussed his girlfriend or partner publicly with the media. Israel has been very secretive about his relationship and love life so there’s barely much known to the public except for assumptions made from his Instagram posts and his live actions.
It also goes without saying that in the latest countdown when he took his dogs for a walk and a kitten was on his chest, he had a guy with him, and usually, that’s the time to show off a girlfriend and or kids. However, he never introduced the guy as a coach or a nutritionistc yet they live together and they seem pretty close. And the guy also looks to be the guy that Israel kissed after knocking out Derek Brunson.
Particularly, it doesn’t matter what Israel’s sexuality may be, either straight, gay, bi, transsexual, it doesn’t really matter. His sexual preference remains his personal business and he can share it whenever he’s comfortable or keep it to himself as he sees fit. With this in mind, there’s no belittling how impactful it’d be if someone of his magnitude came out so we’ll keep our fingers crossed till we can ascertain his sexuality.
