Full Main Card for UFC 252 Revealed!

The world’s largest MMA promotion on Saturday, during the broadcast of the UFC 251 event, revealed the list of fights for the main part of the event, which will be led by Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier on the night of August 15.

From what we can see, it looks like a real spectacle awaits us in Las Vegas!

In the main fight of the UFC 252 event, we will watch the third fight of the best heavyweights of today. Miocic and Cormier are currently at 1-1 in bouts with each other and this is a fight that many have already declared the most important and biggest in the history of the UFC heavyweight division. Stipe and DC are, therefore, without any discussion, by far the biggest stars of this event, but the rest of the card should not disappoint fans either.

According to UFC, another heavyweight bout awaits us that night in which we will watch former champion Junior Dos Santos and Suriname knockout artist Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

The rematch of Ion Cutelaba and Magomed Ankalayev will take place on the same day. It is a fight that has been talked about since February when their meeting in Norfolk was stopped after only 38 seconds of fighting. At UFC Fight Night 169, the judge stopped the fight and declared the Russian fighter the winner, although Cutelaba claimed that he pretended to be shaken in order to drag his opponent into the trap. The Moldovan knockout artist then also complained to the Commission, but his request was rejected.

The UFC also found a solution to the postponed fight between Pedro Munhoz and former champion Frankie Edgar. The two were supposed to settle accounts on July 15 on Yas Island, but Munhoz was positive for coronavirus.

The great news for all fans is that the main card of UFC 252 will be opened by the popular Sean O’Malley, who has arranged a bout with Marlon Vera these days. For the undefeated ‘Sugar’, this will be an opportunity to record the 13th victory from the same number of professional appearances.
